01.08.2026

The ITF W15 tournament played on the courts of BKT Advantage Bielsko-Biała ended with a success for the Polish doubles pair. The doubles title was won by Oriana Gniewkowska (KT GAT Gdańsk) and Marcelina Podlińska (KS Górnik Bytom), who defeated Daria Górska (Legia Tenis Warszawa) and Czech player Emma Slavikova 7:5, 6:2 in the final.

It was an exceptionally intense day for Oriana Gniewkowska. First, the 20-year-old tennis player fought for a spot in the singles final, but in the semifinals she had to concede to the second-seeded Czech player Lucie Petruzelova, losing 1:6, 4:6. However, just several dozen minutes later, she returned to the court and, together with Marcelina Podlińska, claimed the top trophy in doubles. For the Gdańsk player, this is the biggest success of her career so far.

Daria Górska also put in a very strong performance, recording a successful singles tournament run alongside her doubles final appearance. Both she and Marcelina Podlińska headed directly from Bielsko-Biała to Warsaw, where they will compete in the qualifying rounds of the WTA 125 Warsaw T-Mobile Polish Open tournament.

On Sunday, fans can look forward to the final excitement of the tournament. Lucie Petruzelova and Emma Slavikova will face each other in the women's singles final, competing for the ITF W15 Bielsko-Biała 2026 championship title.

The tournament once again confirmed that the BKT Advantage courts are a venue for high-level international competition, and the strong participation of Polish players and their successes gave fans plenty of reasons to celebrate.
