Qualifying for the 2026 Roland Garros Grand Slam begins on Monday, 18 May, with Maja Chwalińska and Linda Klimovicova the first Polish players to take to the courts in Paris. Both will fight for a place in the second qualifying round and the chance to join the Polish players already assured of a place in the main draw.
Maja Chwalińska will face France’s Alice Rame. The match is scheduled on Court Suzanne-Lenglen as the second match of the day. The players will take to the court no earlier than 12:30 p.m. The Bielsko-Biała player is seeded eighth in qualifying and is one of the favourites to advance.
A few hours later, Linda Klimovicova will also play her match. The Pole will face 32nd-seeded Serbian Lola Radivojevic. Their match will take place on Court No. 9 as the fourth match of the day, following three earlier qualifying matches.
Katarzyna Kawa is also competing for a place in the Roland Garros main draw.
