Katarzyna Kawa won the WTA 125 tennis tournament in Modena, Italy. In the final, our player defeated home favourite Lucia Bronzetti after a hard-fought battle, 6:1/4:6/7:6 (8-6). The match lasted more than 2.5 hours. At the beginning of May, the 33-year-old Kawa triumphed at an event of the same category in Huzhou, China.
Kasia’s next stop will be qualifying for the Wimbledon Grand Slam, which begins on 22 June.
