This year’s Roland Garros was another important step in Maja Chwalińska’s sporting development. The BKT Advantage representative showed tremendous determination, fighting spirit and world-class tennis on the courts in Paris. Maja first had to battle through qualifying, where she proved that she can handle pressure effectively. Each successive match showed increasing confidence and excellent physical form.
On the Roland Garros courts, the Pole displayed her trademark tennis based on strong tactical intelligence, consistency and the ability to change the pace of play. Her left-handed style caused problems for many opponents.
Regardless of the final result, her performance in Paris deserves very high praise. Maja is currently ranked No. 21 in the WTA standings.
