Great news from Oeiras, Portugal. Maja Chwalińska enjoyed an outstanding week, capped by victory at a WTA 125 tournament played on clay. It is another important step in her career and a clear sign that she can increasingly set her sights on joining the world’s elite.

Over three days filled with sporting excitement, competition and integration, more than 70 players from across Poland competed for valuable trophies. The courts were buzzing with energy, and every match proved that a passion for sport can be successfully combined with a demanding professional career.
Beskidzki Klub Tenisowy Advantage Bielsko-Biała representatives Maja Chwalińska, Katarzyna Kawa and Linda Klimovicova, together with Magda Linette, will play in the Poland–Ukraine tie on 10–11 April at PreZero Arena Gliwice on clay. The fifth player will be announced at a later date.

The 27-year-old BKT Advantage Bielsko-Biała player made his Davis Cup debut and was immediately given an extremely important task – to open the tie against Egypt. Poland entered the contest weakened by the absence of several leading singles players, making the debutant’s role even more significant. Filar not only rose to the occasion, but set the tone for the entire weekend.
